Miss Paradis was born in December of 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, a commune located only 7.3 miles from the center of Paris. She became a French star at the tender age of 14 with her single Joe Le Taxi. She moved to the USA in 1992 to work on an English album with writer/producer Lenny Kravitz. Rumor has it the two were a couple; he was still married to Lisa Bonet (of The Cosby Show fame) at the time. In addition to music, Paradis has acted in several films and was the Chanel model for the fragrance Coco.
